Howdy! I’m Zach, a Data Scientist with a background in Mechanical Engineering. Of late, I’ve been decarbonizing fertilizer production at ReMo Energy, and consulting on safe healthcare AI at Sample.

Incorrigibly curious, overly prone to nerdsniping. Recent rabbit holes have included: building IOT soil moisture sensors for my plants, classification and analytics on my cats’ litter box usage, TPMS transmission sniffing & point-process modeling, solver-guided function synthesis for blackbox key derivation function reconstruction, reverse-engineering (and writing a parser for) Boston’s transit fare media (CharlieCards), and migrating to a fully declarative & reproducible OS setup (NixOS).
